Having seen lots of threads asking about worst films/music etc I thought I'd ask about favourite films. And since noone ever manages to just pick one favourite I thought I'd go for 10. I'm looking for inspiration for films to watch.
I'll give my top 10 (in no particular order):
1)Once Upon A Time in Mexico
4)Meet Joe Black
6)A Knight's Tale
There are tons of other films that I like, it's difficult to narrow it down, even to 10!
here's mine - The Godfather trilogy, Scarface, Carlito's Way, Snatch, Layer Cake, Goodfellas, Casino, Gotti, Donnie Brasco, Sin City, Inglorious Basterds...you better stop me now...Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The Untouchables, Mr Brooks, Blow, Revolver, RocknRolla - Guy Ritchie, Scorcese, Tarantino, and De Palma movies kill me anyday. Lucky Number Slevin, Running Scared, Smokin' Aces...
In no particular order: Blade Runner, High Plains Drifter, The Unforgiven, Logan's Run, Silent Running, Dead Man, Bonnie and Clyde, Titanic, Cabaret, The Matrix
I can't narrow it down to 10...I'll pick 15
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Romeo & Juliet (1968)
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
V for Vendetta
The Count of Monte Cristo
Interview with the Vampire
The Ten Commandments
The Lady in the Water
The Dark Side of the Sun
Eternal sunshine of the Spotless Mind??? ... oooo I did NOT like that film! I don't mean this to sound rude, it's a sincere question ... what is its appeal?
(1) Fight Club
(2) One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
(4) Pulp Fiction
(6) A Chinese Tall Story
(7) V for Vendetta
(8) Oh Brother Where Art Though
(9) I'm an Android, But that's OK
(10) Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
All movies I can watch over and over.
No order but my top ten are;
The Green Mile
Band of Brothers (HBO Series)
Shawshank Redeption (sp?)
Logan's Run (oldie but goodie)
It's a Wonderful Life
Better off Dead (funny, funny movie)
I could go on and on but I will stop at my top ten
A lot of these movies I didn't like at allllllllll, let alone put them on my top 10. Guess it shows we all have different tastes. I'm still working on my list
Criminy, this is like deciding on which one of my kids I love most--and I have a lot of kids!
Okay, in no particular order:
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Empire Strikes Back
On the Waterfront
It's a Wonderful Life
The Wizard of Oz
The Killing Fields
Okay, I could have easily added another 10 but won't
1. TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
2. WESTWARD THE WOMEN
3. WAR OF THE WORLDS (MOST RECENT RELEASE WITH T.C.)
4. LAST OF THE MOHICANS
8. TERMINATOR (ALL 4)
10.SOMEWHERE IN TIME
