I don't really get into animated movies...I see them as distractions to get my kids to watch the boob tube so I can write...

The kids movie "Cars" it is so authentic in many ways, The vehicles are drawn as representative of real cars and trucks, the story is sweet and the animation as smooth as it gets!

Graveyard of the fireflies is quite beautiful.

But to me, Princess Mononoke will always be an epic. The next step to Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (also a great movie) it makes you look at how extreme can become the confrontation between Man and Nature. It's truly an enviromentalist awe-inspiring work.

But we're all talking of the same studio by the way - Gibhli!

"Spirited Away" is a gret movie. All Miyazaki Hayao's movies are. I also love Nausica.
