What's your favorite animated movie and why? I'll go first
"The Incredibles" hands down because I can relate the story to my own family minus the superpowers and Holly Hunter's voice was spot on for the mother. smile ok your turn.

Unfortunately in England it wasn't on normal TV, and we never had satellite, so I only had a few videos and the movie, I wonder if they're on YouTube now, will have to go check. smile

Little Old Lady: Oh, hello, there. Are you two heading for Las Vegas?
            Beavis: Yeah. We're gonna score.
Little Old Lady: Oh, well, I hope to score big there, myself. I'm mostly gonna be doing the slots.
Beavis: Yeah, yeah. I'm hoping to do some sluts, too. Yeah. Do they have a lot of sluts in Las Vegas?
Little Old Lady: Oh, there are so many slots, you won't know where to begin.

            Genius.

My goodness.  Don't know many people that have even heard of that movie.  It's one of the saddest of ALL TIME.  Aside from that, it's one of the BEST war movies of all time too.

Beauty and the Beast - loved Robbie Benson (who'd a thunk it!) and the supporting cast was to die for - David Ogden Steirs, Jerry Orbach, Angela Lansbury, Ruth Buzzie (sp?, lol) - but more particularly loved Belle. She is such a great character and such a departure for a Disney heroine. Finally, a girl who thinks, has a mind of her own, a sense of humor, and is more than a foil for the brave prince. I also loved that almost the whole movie is sung belle canto style. As well, the songs actually carry the action forward, not merely comment on the emotion of the moment.

Anastasia - The graphics were amazing.  The fire on the speeding train scene, and the shots of Paris at night were so real.  I loved the way the characters moved (especially in the scene when Dimitri and Vlad do a song and dance).

Heavy Metal, that movie blew my mind when I first seen it. Then again a cartoon with lots of blood and nudity was like the holy grail to a 14 year old.
