If music didn't exist, how would our civilization differ today?
To tell you the truth, our civilization probably wouldn't exist either.
Music is a power of expression, and also a form of entertainment.
I'd assume to make up for music we would have a different additional way of communication and feelings expression. We would definitely have to have something to replace it.
In return, our civilization probably wouldn't differ too much at all.
I don't think it would exist. The two major components of music, sound and rhythm, are major components of life as well. Music is a pattern embedded in nature and all of humanity. Without music civilization would lack a key blueprint of existence. Hopefully, that made sense.
