errr...perhaps maybe "Notting Hill." It stars Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. Roberts is a movie star, and she goes to the Notting Hill section of London and meets Hugh Grant at his bookstore. They fall in love, and I believe she leaves and comes back or something. Anyway, it was made in the 90s.
