Looking for a good laugh. What movie or TV show (old or new) makes you laugh the hardest?
There's a few here:
Big Mommas House
Anything with Richard Pryor
Fresh Prince of Bel Air
The Cosby Show
The Simpsons! I never tire of their shenanigans, and see my family in many of the episodes. Honestly!
Tv show has to be family guy and american dad.....i'm obsessed with them and film would have to be something along the lines of meet the fockers, water boy etc.
Goldie Hawn when much younger used to play in Rowan and Martin's Laugh In. This show starred Ruth Buzzi, Arte Johnson, Lilly Tomlin, Joanne Dru and many others who put on 1 min skits that could have you hurting from laughing so hard. This is still a classic funny show available yet today on DVD. "Veryy Interesting and Sock it to me" + the skit of the old man on a trike hassling the old spinster still make me chuckle and that was +30 yrs ago. CHECK it out on UTube at Rowan and Martin's Laugh In (and there are others available here too)if you get the chance. NO modern comedy show could match it today for content and silliness.
As per my hub on my top 10 comedies:
Meet the parents
Grosse Pointe Blank
Shawn of the Dead
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
As for TV shows I reccomend
How I met your Mother
Big Bang Theory
My fav scottish comedies. Rab c Nesbit and still game.
Irish comedy Father ted
And my favourite American sitcom Friends
Barney in the Andy Griffith Show
The Beverly Hillbillies
The contemporary cartoon with the talking dog is funny -- I don't remember the name
Still to this day LMAO at the Southpark movie. If you're looking for something a bit more obscure, check out Denis Leary's "No cure for cancer" stand up routine.
Oh brother where art thou with George Clooney. I laughed through out most of this movie. The characters are hilarious!
Tyler Perry in Diary of a Mad black woman. When Tyler Perry plays Madeea, I just love it!
Kids in the Hall.
Sometimes you can catch it on cable, but it is definitely worth a look on youtube to see some clips.
