    Is big fat gypsy weddings the greatest tv show ever?

    For those outside the UK it is a show that follows the weddings of gypsies or travellers and it will make your skin crawl.
    It makes me shout at the tv but it's so addictive! Anyone else agree?

    Hi, I did watch some of it, but there is one thing that is bugging me about it, and that is every time they say 'gypsy wedding' I think, great! now to watch a proper one, but then they go to the person getting married and they are always Irish! Duh! I wish someone would tell them that they are Irish tinkers or travellers, they are NOT romany gypsy's! Irish travellers are sometimes full blood gypsys, but mainly they are just gorgi's or normal people who have decided to live in caravans over the century's! it seems that the makers of the programmes don't seem to know their travellers from their Roms! I was married to a proper romany gypsy, and even though there are some similarity's there are also differences! Ho Hum! maybe they should sack the person who checks it out for the programme in the first place! lol

    I cant help watching it for the sheer entertainment !!

    I am almost embarrased for the brides..what absolutely terrible wedding gowns they have..and the guests outfits ..well they just make me cringe !!
