If wrongly accussed of shoplifting why was my daughter escorted off the shop and barred
my daughter and a few friend were asked by a store detective to come to the stores office where they were asked rto empty their bags one of the girls had items in it which wernt paid for although they hadnt attempted to leave the shop but my daughter had nothing in her bag yet she was still escorted off the premesis and barred from the shop I feell shes been made to feel like a criminal evev though shes done nothing wrong are they allowed to do this shes 14 years old
I have heard of people getting small settlements for being falsely accused of this. She should have walked away when she knew or if she knew this was going on because that looks bad on her but I am sure if no one can prove she did any wrong they are responsible. I had my little 2 year old son search by a worker in a Hills department store once and I got there after the incident and my son and his father were leaving the store. If I had been there I would have had me a fit and they would have paid or fired that girl right then and there. Why did she have a right in my sons pockets? He had not nor ever has stolen anything.
