What is the most beautiful event or occassion you've ever attended?
The Velvet Revolution in previous Czechoslovakia with two small children. The ancient city square where I had been standing was surrounded by police and filled with thousands people ringing their keys and asking for peace and justice.
It was historical moment and I was very happy I could be a part of it...
There are many...watching children perform in their own little productions ranks high....but I would have to say the one that tend to hold a special place right now is attending an event call unsung heroes...where people, everyday, common, working class moms, dads, aunts, uncles, sister, brothers, neighbors and friends.... no one knew these people outside their circle of influence. They were reconized for going above and beyond to help someone else. Many of them had trouble paying their bills but they could always find a way to help someone else. It was a most inspiring event and it motivated me to get involved in my community in ways that I had not before. We hear a lot about the celebrities or even the high profile business people but it is rare that we pay honor to the average "Joe or Jane" and there are lots of people who make a difference.
I didn't get to go, but I think O'bama's inauguration is historical as far as presentation and inspiration go.
This is a great question. I would have to say, the Birth of our three children. Other than that, weddings stand high on my list. I cry and all weddings! Thanks for the question.
When my daughter was about 3 she went to the alter at church to pray all on her own. I thought it was the most humble thing I had ever seen. So innocent and so beautiful, I was in awe.
Of course now she is a teen and a completely different creature.
That will be my best friend's wedding. It's the best wedding i had ever been to and I am so very happy for her.
My friend's wedding. It was so special as the company that hired him organized and paid for his entire wedding.
It was the most wonderful event I had ever attended.
yes, the birth of my son. He just turned 30 and has a son of his own now, but I still remember every single moment of his birth and it still makes me smile. Second place would be my wedding...a garden ceremony held on a summer night. The only lights were twinkle lights in trees, bon fires, torches and candles...it was perfect!

What's the biggest event you've ever attended? It doesn't have to be "big" as in number, like a Beth Moore seminar I attended with 11,000+. It could be favorite event - like a concert or a child's graduation.

A couple years ago I marched in the Chicago Gay Pride parade. I think it is probably the most interesting place, or event I have ever been a part of. There were thousands of marchers, and over 750,000 spectators. Just to see all of those thousands of faces looking at you and smiling and waving, and...
