Please be more specific. What do you listen to? Or do you need music for a project or a theme?
If you're interested in something "different" check out Ani Difranco. She's a great artist and is bound to have something that you'll like.
That's not a question but here's my guess: CSS - Hits me like a rock.
Well let's see...having absolutely know idea of your preferences, I will recommend some of my favorites that I think might have a fairly wide appeal...
Right Away, Great Captain
Ray LaMontagne (soulful and wonderful)
The Civil Wars
The Swell Season
Mae (The Everglow is their best album, in my opinion)
Florence and The Machine
The Format (upbeat alternative; fun driving music)
Frightened Rabbit (fantastic indie rock band from Scottland)
Isaac Russell (singer/songwriter; solid lyrics)
I could keep going, but I'll leave it there. I feel like you've either heard of all of these people already or that you will hate them all. But hopefully you find something good in there.
peepingtomb yeah I knew all along it's not a question, but I decided to write it like that anyway. and thanks for the suggestion of CSS, I'll check it out
cobrien, I just want to hear some good music, can be any kind, thanks!

What do you consider "good" music?

I completely agree. Now we have such seemingly cookie-cutter music; just add your typical vocals and, voila, you've a hit single! It really sucks :[

When dating do you believe there is real difference between being shallow and having preferences? If a man refuses to date women who are overweight and a woman refuses to date men who are shorter than her would you consider them to be shallow? or Would you view it as having specific preferences?...
