2011 is coming to an end.  What do you think a 2011 Year In Review list should include?

What was the best movie of the year?  What was the best tv show of the year?  What was the best book of the year?  What was the best video game of the year?  What was the best tech toy of the year?  What was the most memorable event of the year?

One's that I can answer from personal experience:
Best TV Show: Sons of Anarchy, Best Video Game: Modern Warfare 3 or Dead Island, Most Memorable Event: Occupy Movement.

A couple memorable events -- Osama bin Laden's death and the Occupy Wall Street movement.

One best book of the year I can think of right now is Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Definitely recommend it. It's the first of 3 and comes out as a movie soon.

Looks like Matt in Jax and omggoshgosh knows good gaming when they play it.  Modern Warfare 3 is quite enjoyable, but my personal favorite is Portal 2.   And what geek doesn't want an iPad 2?  Danette Watt, I agree, Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay feels like its bound to show up on the big screen soon.
