no, the media distorts all issues. You have always to be aware that people are, necessarily, subjective and speak from their own perspective. I listen to what the media says but listen to all sorts of media. I trust BBC radio 4 and the BBC world Service because commentators explain issues, in depth, in a way that ordinary people can understand. I then consider all the views that I have heard and form my own opinion.
Nope..and I agree with Mercia, BBC is probably the better media compared to most American media. There was a report by CNN that I was very familiar with, and was shocked at the perspective taken by CNN, as it was grossly biased..then again that's my view!
