Watching Spectacle with Elvis Costello and his guests are The Police. Hearing Sting and Elvis sing Allison gave me massive chills. I love the 80s
love 80's music~~ 80's and 70's ~~ the best.
sometimes I go on youtube for hours and pull up old music videos, great fun.
Hi babes! Do you remember the teardrop explodes? arrrhhh 'reward' x
I used to have different colored leg warmers, I had enough to match my entire wardrobe. Yup..that much of a geek!
I'd have followed you round like a puppy back in the day!
Ahhh you're still cool! I love the 80's too! I just think the songs back then had more of a meaningful direction. The love songs seemed more genuine. Today's stuff....ugh.....is all homogenized and people don't even make a pretense at being honest, which I guess is a step up, or is it? Anyway, the 80's rock!
I had a sony walkman and a headband; what more could anyone ask of in a discerning young gentleman about town!
I still use my Sony Walkman. (I do have an Mp3 player and a collection of Mp3's on my PC - but the Walkman plays my favorite cassette tapes. ) I like 80's music, but I wasn't all that cool in the 80's. I had three little kids in the 80's.
roller skates and cliff Richard 'wired for sound' lol
I like to think that I'm just as cool now as I was back then but my kids tell me otherwise
I was just going to post about the headbands...you beat me to it! LOL
Early 80's. Left college due to lack of money. Moved to Houston Tx. Got a job as a waitress. Was recently over twenty one. And I partied on!
Disco was still sorta in. I had a decent body. Had my first perm and looked cool. And the twins... They looked like Rex Smith.
*beating head on desk* I used to be so cool.....
You children have no idea how cool the 80's were.
You are too funny! I was 18 in 1980, so I loved the early 80's music & some of the disco. Back when we were cool - but we are COOL MOM's now
If your ever in an 80's music mode go hang out with pandora.com you will discover old classics you forgot about. Pandora is a personalized radio station playing only music you like. try it out. I have discovered how much i like fleetwood mac, laura brannigan, and many similar artists.
I love the music from the 80's. Really battle with what I'm hearing these days...
I love all music but rap. Did then and do now. The late 80's I was just a teen. I listened to everything back then. But the hair bands were the biggest thing then. I loved them all.
my oldest is 20- and I have her hooked on the "old" 80's music- I guess every generation remembers the music of their youth fondly- my mom loved Elvis- and the Beach boys- and sees herself as hip when she listens to that music- she recently retired
I was cool until about 1983 and then became a cop then lost all coolness, but every once in a while I would drive through neighborhoods at 2 in the AM blaring AC/DC over my cop car loud speaker! I was cool again
well this in kewl reincarnated! AC/DC is kewl AGAIN! X
stands corrected in light of you being a policeman! lol x
Is nice hearing my kids say,'Mom, even my friends say you're cool' but we definitely a different person today than back then n I still try keep my 'shaggy' hair do O..n Queen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Van Halen ...today, Linkin Park, One Republic, Tiamet, Nightwish, jus a few.

If Heaven exists, what do you think -- or hope -- it's like? You have no physical body so you can't spend eternity having sex or playing video games or posting to forums. So what will you be doing to occupy your forever? Also, if your "soulmate" went to the Hell, will you be pining...
