Watching Spectacle with Elvis Costello and his guests are The Police. Hearing Sting and Elvis sing Allison gave me massive chills. I love the 80s smile

Ahhh you're still cool! I love the 80's too!  I just think the songs back then had more of a meaningful direction. The love songs seemed more genuine. Today's stuff....ugh.....is all homogenized and people don't even make a pretense at being honest, which I guess is a step up, or is it? Anyway, the 80's rock!

I still use my Sony Walkman.  lol  (I do have an Mp3 player and a collection of Mp3's on my PC - but the Walkman plays my favorite cassette tapes.  lol  )  I like 80's music, but I wasn't all that cool in the 80's.  I had three little kids in the 80's.

Early 80's. Left college due to lack of money. Moved to Houston Tx. Got a job as a waitress. Was recently over twenty one. And I partied on!

Disco was still sorta in. I had a decent body. Had my first perm and looked cool. And the twins... They looked like Rex Smith.

*beating head on desk* I used to be so cool.....

You children have no idea how cool the 80's were.

I love all music but rap.  Did then and do now.  The late 80's I was just a teen.  I listened to everything back then.  But the hair bands were the biggest thing then.  I loved them all.

my oldest is 20- and I have her hooked on the "old" 80's music- I guess every generation remembers the music of their youth fondly- my mom loved Elvis- and the Beach boys- and sees herself as hip when she listens to that music- she recently retired
