"What", precisely, is a "TV" license? Are you referring to cable or pay-television (ie. a contract or subsciption)? If so, you have two options: either not buy a television, or buy a television and do not subscribe to any provider (you will still have approximately one to four stations if you are lucky, since most areas in the US utilize cable television or a satellite service provider. If you live in an area outside the perimeter of such providers, chances are you won't be able to pick-up any signals for RHF/UHF tuning. Your best bet is to move to an area where the central populace is over fifty people...or try getting someone to allow you to hook a "signal-splitter" up to their line--but why anyone would allow you to steal or mooch their cable is beyond me, especially when they must pay for it! Good luck with that! Or, you could just simply cancel your "learner's permit" until you can afford an entire license, or you turn 65--whichever comes first. Try contacting "The Federal Bureau of Television Licensing and Radio-Wave Repair", they should be able to help you. Make sure, though, to send them the "Vin number" located on the back of your "remote", so that they can properly register it for you--after all, in the wrong hands, television licenses can be extremely dangerous, and can sometimes even lead to thought stagnation, unless you have a valid GED. Please let me know how you made out, as this is a very serious issue!

Thanx, and may a thousand blessing fall upon your house!
