Oh my gosh, Hunger Games!!! Those books really did something to my heart..they're so emotionally gripping, which is particularly rare in such an action-packed story. I have to say the first Twilight film put me off from ever picking up the Twilight books. I enjoyed the Harry Potter films but have never been interested enough to follow the books.

Harry Potter, Then Twilight, Then The Hunger Games. The first Hunger Games was fantastic!..but then the series gradually deteriorated into uninteresting rubbish.

Harry Potter. You can never tire of the classic child story of magic and great friends. Twilight is second mainly because the movies killed it for me. And I have not read the Hunger Games because I do not agree with the idea of children killing each other on TV.

That last line made me giggle.
I'd advise you to read the first book of the Hunger Games. It in no way glorifies the killing of children at all. In fact, the fact the killing of children is a horrific thing, is the main point of the series.

I know that it is portrayed as horrifying. However, I still cannot force myself to read it.

Harry Potter, definitely. I basically grew up with the Harry Potter series and have read all the books and seen all the movies. I have never read the Twilight and Hunger Games books, though I can't stand the Twilight movies and have never seen the Hunger Games movie.

Harry Potter is definitely my favourite. I grew up on Harry Potter and I truly believe it helped shape the person I am today. I remember reading about one boy who wanted to kill himself as a teenager but didn't because he had to know how the series ended. For people my age (the 'Harry Potter generation') it has truly been something that has taught about love, life and sacrifice, and provided a moment of happiness for people with nothing else to look forward to.

I haven't read the Hunger Games series, I've only seen the movie so I'm afraid I can't really say much about it. I did love the movie though, I thought it cast a light on the lives we live today - just how far will people go to become famous? And how powerful are those in power, are we just their puppets or do we still have control over our own lives?

Twilight, on the other hand - and I really don't like to insult anyone who does like it,  this is just my opinion, but what utter tosh that was. In my opinion, it's absolute drivel, the movies are boring and uninspired, and the story of Bella Swan could very well set the feminist movement back about 100 years. Oh, my boyfriend's left me! Please ignore while I sit in this chair and refuse to move for six months. Ugh, it really does make me angry, I have no idea why I read it, and it terrifies me that young girls might look to this to see how to behave.

It is a hard decision between harry potter and the hunger games but really I've been attached to harry potter since I was little so I think harry potter will be my favorite. The hunger games is really good but could never beat harry potter.
