Should JK Rowling make more Harry Potter Books?

Sure. The Wizarding World of Harry Potterâ„¢ at Universal is one of the only things keeping the economy afloat here in Central Florida.

Thanks for the chance to stick a plug.

At the end of the last movie, it appeared that a whole new generation was going to Hogswart.

I can't see why she wouldn't write a new series based on the adventures of a whole second generation of children whose parents are graduates.

At least when they've been written the movies would be in a chronological order in comparison to Star Wars and the Lord of the Rings.

I'm on the fence about this- I can see it being about the new generation and I think that would be nice but we've already had seven books chock full of the wizarding world itself. Is there more to describe in terms of the magic and the locations?

I think that would be cool...but I could also go for another series of her choosing. I think she's a great writer...had me captivated.

Harry's son sounds a little interesting. But I don't know... Normally when series carry on they tend to be boring and irritating. However, J.K. Rowling is an amazing author who makes everything seem new. So I would have to say it's perfectly fine and I would look forward to it.

I love J.K Rowling and all of the Harry Potter books and movies, but I think she should leave this epic alone. There are plenty of series that continued their stories after prolonged periods of inactivity and ended in disaster. Star Wars comes to mind first...

I would have ended the 7th book differently.  I would have had Albus send his parents an owl the next day, saying, "Father, please don't be mad at me.  The Sorting Hat gave me a choice, just as it did you.  I chose Slytherin, because when we were riding on Hogwarts Express, a creepy girl named Dolores Enigma was on there (name sound familiar?).  She had platinum blonde hair and blue eyes, and she reminded me of a cross between an angora cat and a ravenous lion.  She was sorted into Gryffindor; that's why I chose Slytherin.  As it is, I'm going to be keeping a sharp eye out for James."
If J.K. Rowling got enough clamor regarding this hanging ending, she may choose to continue the series at a later date.
