What is the funniest movie you've ever seen?

I think mine would have to be a toss up between Superbad and The Hangover. While I overall enjoy Superbad more, and find that it has more re-play value, upon my first viewings I found them to be equally as hysterical. What about you? What's the funniest movie you've ever seen?

Land of the lost. I think only Will Ferrell can play a dumb/smart scientist, its hilarious.

Unfortunately, I hated Land of the Lost. I never found any of it funny. I'll have to give it another chance.

Pound for pound, "Airplane" (1980) is still the funniest movie I've ever seen. I can't tell you how many times I've watched it, yet it still makes me laugh each and every time.

I've got a long list but The Hangover tops it followed by Forgetting Sarah Marshall and then 21 Jump Street.

Great ones. It was hard for me not to choose 21 Jump Street.

It's probably a tie between "Dumb and Dumber" and "Airplane."

I'd have to say Rat Race.  Right off the bat, when the opening sequence was going, it was clearly going to be a fun, funny movie.  Now I want to see it again.  Even the sound track was fun.  I don't usually buy sound tracks, but that one was worth it!

My funniest movies are She's the Man, Pink Panther with Steve Martin and Mrs. doubtfire.

Never saw Pink Panther. I guess I'll have to give it a chance.

I love the "Naked Gun" movies but my favorite is still the original "The Producers" by Mel Brooks from 1968. The concept is hilarious and Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder are brilliant together. I think "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" (I forget how many mads) was also very funny but they let it go on at least 20 minutes too long. "What's Up Doc?" with Barbara Streisand and Ryan O'Neil is also good for a laugh. I'm giving my age away here. I do watch new comedies but often you get a sense of deja-vu.

Naked Gun is hilarious. Never saw the others though.

Ever since I first saw it, 'Dumber and Dumber' has been my favorite comedy. It's full of memorable quotes and features a ton of hilarious scenes. Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey were an ultimate duo in that movie.

'The Great Race' starring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, Peter Falk, Natalie Wood, & Keenan Wynn... With 'Little Big Man' starring Dustin Hoffman coming in 2nd... 'Blazing Saddles' & 'Young Frankenstein' also near the top...

I also need to recognize 'The Jerk' as well.

Blazing Saddles has a great mixture of everything funny that's subtle and over the top. It's one of those that made me laugh the most.
