Do  you trust the media to fairly and accurately report the news?

Not at all. It is just like when the newspaper describes a crime. The police never give the papers all of the information.

True, in most cases. But once the newspapers get the info, I would just like them to report what they have without trying to spin it first.

A report is without emotion and perspective which is extremely difficult for most writers. Words will always be spun.

No, it seems you need to read in between the lines when news is reported.

Yes, melbelle, wasn't there a time when we could just assume news reporters would do their job and not slant things one way or another? Maybe I'm just nostalgic.

Ofcourse not. Stories are never accurate.

I used to, but not any more.

I'm a slow learner. It took me moving out of the States to see how corrupt and distorted the Corporate Party news media is. But it's rapidly getting worse.

The Corporate Party is closing in on finishing the job of dismantling America that they started a century ago (1913). With two planks of the Communist Manifesto -- private Central Bank and graduated personal income tax -- we've gradually and slowly slid downhill by design.

Just look at these 2 short videos that show how our Corporate Party has eliminated voting and Roberts Rules of Order from the political system:

Snort , with a resounding NO. The media has made it clear with their biased opinions instead of just reporting just who they're leaning toward.

It is so obvious, isn't it? Shameless.
