Yes, quite a few. The Green Mile, The Whole Nine Yards, The Scorpion King, Sin City & the short lived TV show The Finder. He had a great deep voice that demanded attention, and was a good actor.
The only one that I can say for sure was "The Green Mile", which was a really outstanding movie and earned him an Oscar nomination. I feel pretty sure that I saw him in at least one other movie, but I really can't remember which one it was. Hopefully I will get to see more of his movies in the future.
Of course I have, The Green Mile of course, but there are so many smaller parts he has played in so many awesome movies. You just have to check out the list of his movies, and watch them all! The Finder TV Show was amazing, and a must see.
The Green Mile, Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li, Daredevil, and The Whole Nine Yards.
I have seen many of his movies. Most of the movies he was in were good...but he shined in The Green Mile. Truly magnificent movie.
Yes. He's been in a lot of films before his passing. His finest work was 1999's "Green Mile" with Tom Hanks. He played John Coffey who is a large black male prisoner sent to Cold Mountain Penitentiary in 1935 Louisiana for the rape and murder of 2 white southern girls. John is not only a slow, gentle giant who doesn't seem to be the monster people make him out to be, but he also has a unique gift. It's probably Duncan's best acting performance. He's also been in "The Whole Nine Yards" with Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry, "Daredevil" with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and Colin Farrell, "Sin City" with Rosearo Dawson, Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba.
Awwww....no one remembers him as Bear in Armageddon. Another one where he was a gentle giant.

The saddest movie that I have ever seen was Terms of Endearment (1983) with Debra Winger and Shirley Maclaine. The saddest part of the movie is when Emma (Debra Winger) is diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her breast and she fights to the bitter end.A poignant part in the film is when Emma goes...
