Do you know people so addicted to a television series that they mimic it in their daily life?
Do you know anyone who thinks they are The Simpsons, A Bad Girl, Beavis, Butthead, Sheldon (Big Bang Theory), or even Spock? They are unable to carry on a normal conversation without inserting some line or attitude from their favorite show?
Been there. As a child, around age 9, I truly thought that I had no emotions, like Mr. Spock. It was a way of coping with my parents divorce.
Now, I consciously see role models from television. I may make Star Trek navigation chatter as I pull out of the driveway. When logical and seeking justice, I'm aware of sounding like Jack Klugman's character, Quincy, ME.
But it is a small part of my life. I do it approximately 2.718% of the time. (lol)
