Too many to mention, a short list, Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Leadbelly, Muddy Waters, Rev Gary Davies, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Mississippi John Hurt, Brownie Terry and Sunny McGee, etc.

Hard rock, heavy metal, and old school punk rock. Basically anything with loud guitars and attitude.

Some faves include Megadeth, Ramones, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and too many others to mention.

I don't do loud too often, I'm more in love with melodies but do your thing! smile

I never get tired of post-punk (and peripherally, new wave) from the late 70s and early 80s. Bands like U2, Joy Division, Echo and the Bunnymen, the Smiths, the Cure, and so forth are often called depressing, but I find most of their work really uplifting.

I like U2 the most out of that bunch. "One" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" are great!

A mid. It ranges from swing to blues to Classical and Jazz
I played piano for a long time. I still like classical but I enjoy anything harmonious.
    I love Bob Marley too
And since I grew up in the '80's I like Prince and Michel Jackson.

The easy answer would be to say Classical music, but that's not 100% true. I like pretty much any music which has Classical elements. I love Mozart and Puccini, but I also love "Les Miserables", Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera", and most of the modern movie scores by men like Howard Shore and Hans Zimmer. I also like Loreena McKennitt and Hayley Westenra - they have a lot of Classical music and folksong elements in their work. Basically, anything that is melodious and has great orchestration.

    MsLarayne,
I always have the Tempations in the CD player, and a Motown station on the raido, TV, and the computer. I'm from Michigan. This is where Motown started. I love it.
