Have you ever been to Hollywood, CA, and did you see any celebrities while you were there?

Most everyday people are enthralled by the lives of celebrities. Did you go to Hollywood for a celebrity sighting?

I can remember about 8 or 9 years ago, I was driving down Sunset Strip with my friend who lived down in LA at the time.  I spotted Travis Barker (the drummer from Blink-182) on the side of the street, as his new Cadillac drove up to a building we were passing.  He had a cast over his entire leg and was using crutches.  I wanted to stop, but my friend was on her way to a casting call and couldn't be late.

Yes, I have been to Hollywood, I was born and raised in the LA area and never really saw any celebrities until l worked at a bank in Malibu, Calif. We had a lot of celebrity customers and it made the job a lot of fun.

I live in Orange County which is a little more than half an hour from Los Angeles. Although I frequent the area, I have yet to see someone famous. However, my girlfriend who works at Disneyland have already spoken with James Franco, Jerry Springer, Busy Phillips, and more. She missed David and Victoria Beckham once by minutes!

Disneyland is also a place to see some stars, I guess!

Hollywood is mainly a tourist section Of LA. They have cheap souvenir stores for the public. The stars almost never go to that area unless a publicity event is planned at the Chinese Theater,  or other places for promotion.  Its not what people think. The movie studios like Paramount have gated entry. A lot of movie and recording studios are hidden or look like normal buildings that you would not think entertainers would enter. The agents and managers offices are in high rise office buildings. If you go to downtown Beverly Hills you will see stars shopping there now and then. The stores and restaurants are outrageously expensive but the stars love it.

Yes, I have; no, I didn't; but, then, I wasn't looking. There are much more interesting critters in the world to hunt.

I lived in Burbank for 3 months for work, but I did not run into any celebrities.  I did go to a couple of concerts and TV show tapings.
