    The 60's.... The Beatles "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
    The 70's....  The BeeGee's " Saturday night fever"
    The 80's.... Michael Jackson... "Thriller"
    The 90's..... Eric Clapton "Unplugged
    The 2000's... Bob Dylan "Modern times"

    1960s - Beatles, "Sgt. Pepper"
    1970s - Ramones, "Ramones"/KISS, "Destroyer" (tie)
    1980s - Metallica, "Kill'Em All"/Guns N Roses, "Appetite for Destruction" (tie)
    1990s - Nirvana, "Nevermind"
    2000s - I honestly don't know. I stopped paying attention by the end of the 1990s, haha.
