Need help in tracking down the title of the movie I seen way back.

    Need help in tracking down the title of the movie I seen way back.

    All I can remember is that one of the character is a blind archer (I think its an elf).  If you guys know of a movie that have a blind archer as a character please write the title here so that I can check if it is the one that I am looking for ... (Mr google is not that helpful. No thanks to LOTR)

    It would be very cool if Legolas was blind hahaha..Do you know when it hit the big screen or released on DVD? That would really help.

      I saw it on cable around year 2000 so not sure when it was actually release.

    The closest film that I know of was called "Hawk the Slayer" from 1980

      Do you have any more details, basic plot outline, any other characters or stars in the film since you saw it on cable it might not have had a cinema release

      As I said this happen a long time ago.  As I remember they were in a cave with a magician of some sort.  Then they will be teleported somewhere as if they wer trying to recruit member for a quest.

      Sounding more and more like Hawk the Slayer he was teleported from place to place in a pair of double rotating rings to recruit fighters. The magician doing the teleporting was blindfolded with a Cyclops style eye on the blindfold

      After seeing the wizard it have a bit of similarity. I will check it out.  I could swear the elf archer is blind.  Since I saw it a long time ago I could have mix things up.  Many thanks
