When you write a new hub you have diffrent options. You can publish it or save it unpublished, where only you can read it. Go to the page where you can edit your hub and click the publish option.

You need to hit the publish button...  It doesn't automatically post.

In "edit mode" click the green "publish now" button.

      Hi ordscribe43.....

I did everything as you mentioned. It still not published and shows that the article has very little content. But mine is above 3000 words content.

Please help me in this regard.

you can ask about it from HP staff.also you can take help from any hubbers and can review your content.

Does the warning specifically say it has very little content, or are there more words?

Have you tried Previewing the Hub so you're sure all the words are showing up?

Is the text all original, not published anywhere else on the internet?

I am having a similar problem. I have only published one hub and after writing another it says I have been banned for violations. I checked violations and the site said I have none. I also went over the terms of service and picked apart my hub with no violations found. Since then I have emailed about 5 separate times ( I am eager to keep posting) . Please help with suggestions on how to be unbanned or get attention of the staff.

If you were banned for violations, you wouldn't be able to post here.

Where are you seeing the warning?  Can you give us the exact wording?  If it's on the secpond Hub, it may refer only to that Hub.

    Thank you for the response!

I will post the exact wording but let me precede it by saying I have since written two hubs and both received the same message. One about fitting reading into your life and the other, an analysis of a Leslie Marmon Silko essay. I can find no problem with tagging, photos, or content.

    the exact wording reads:

"Sorry, because of rule violations associated with your account or ip address, permission to publish new hubs has been revoked. You can still edit your existing hubs and save your changes to this hub by clicking the done editing button. Your right to publish may automatically be restored through time and adherence to the HubPages rules. Fixing or deleting existing flagged hubs may also help."

The thing is I read the terms of service and I can find no violations whatsoever!

Thanks in advance for the help!

It's not saying there's anything wrong with your Hub, it's saying that the machine you're using has been involved in spamming.  Are you writing from a public library or internet cafe?

The only thing I can suggest is write to team @ hubpages.  It's still holiday time so they may be slower than usual in getting back to you, but they will respond.

The first thing to do would be to edit it, and double check that you pressed 'publish' not 'save'.  If it was unpublished for a reason, this will appear n the black box in edit mode.

I live in a house with 9 other roommates and we all use the same internet.

I didn't consider they might affect my Hubpage.

Thank you so much for the help. I have e-mailed the staff, not realizing it was New Years, I expect they will respond now the holiday is over.

Are there any suggestions for what to do if some one with the same IP address is compromising my internet integrity?

I'm not sure, but I do know some people who have had the same problem and the team have been able to arrange it so they can post.

Same thing happend to the hub I just published, they unpublished it.  It might take up to 72 hours for it to be published again.  Not sure what I can do about it.  Can I repost it?

      @ Michele
Did they say why it was unpublished? If not, e-mail them and ask why. I just had a hub unpublished but they told me it was because they found other material on the web that was similar. I completely rewrote it but it still has not been republished as of yet.

        Hi geodmc
it said "substandard"   Then I read it and noticed I misspelled a few things.  I corrected them.  If you completely rewrote yours why won't I don't understand why they won't publish it.    By the way,  I hope they do publish your hub.  You write good hubs.

Did you remember to resubmit it for publication?

Did the warning say why it was substandard?  Often, if you click on the warning it opens up a screen that gives you more information.  I notice some of your Hubs are rather short, could it have been too short?

That is possible.  They are short.  I will try to make it longer. There is a lot of information that still can be put into it.
