Haven't seen it yet, getting very mixed reviews from friends, some like it and some think that while the effects are fantastic the film itself is pretty crap. When I see it I'll give you my verdict
we have to experience that movie there are no words to say ,jamescameron introduses new world
it is nice but overrated, better than the other movies shown
I hope to see it very soon! Been looking forward to it since i first heard of it.
I am planning on seeing it next weekend. The box office numbers for opening day were excellent, for what its worth.
My three kids have just returned from seeing it. They watched the 3D version. I reckon they enjoyed it. All want to live wherever the fictional Avatar thingies live.
No idea what the film's about as I didn't go with them, I spent the evening with my dad, his wife and other family members.
I will be going to see it though. It sounds interesting. Hope you enjoy it
I saw this totally awesome movie last night. It was spectacular! I recommend anyone to see it, with the exception of small children. It's much too intense for little ones. I loved the flying creatures...they were the most brilliant colors. It was an exceptional film that will go down in history.
If it interests you at all see it on the big creen and go 3D.
Film mkaing has come so far now... if someone can imagine it, they can bring it to life.
It's on my 'to do' List....way up on it!!!
I'm practically foaming at the mouth, I want to see it that bad
I've watched it and I liked it, not only for the effects (which I'm really, really impressed with) but also for the message of the movie.
saw it last night on Imax screen, I was mesmerized, it was so fantastical, that's the word that kept popping into my mind.
brilliant in every respect.
3-d was amazing!! I tried to grasp those little white spirits at times! it was the perfect way to close christmas night.
enjoy if you haven't seen it.
I saw it the day after it came out, only in 2d but OMG it was fantastic. I am terrible for falling asleep during films, but this kept my attention for the whole 2hrs 40 and I loved every minute of it. Only one "puke worthy" moment in the entire film too which is pretty impressive!
Watched it 2 times in three days.
LOVED IT.
Go see it!!!!!!
3D of course.
After looking at reviews, I really want to watch it.
I've not watched a modern movie for years now. Most of the stuff I've watched is from the 1930's until the early 1960's.
I saw it opening weekend and absolutely loved it ! The plot itself is not great, but the animation, the scenery, and the overall effect of the movie is breathtaking.
I believe this movie will go down in history as a benchmark film in animation much like "2001 A Space Odyssey", "Tron", and "Star Wars".
Avatar is the best bad movie ever...
the plot is simplistic, contrived, cliched and there's so many coincidences and conveniences that it can make your head spin
but
the visuals are beyond stunning
it's worth a look in the cinema, and 3D is the only way to go, but Scifi Film of the Century/Decade/Year it is NOT
Saw it at the AMC in Upper West the line was a joke!!! But the best thing in 09 for sure
Saw the 3D version in here, the show was packed and I loved every bit of it. I think James Cameron has another feather in his cap with the gem of a movie Avatar. Avatar is a must watch for everyone, it is one of the best movies I have ever watched in recent times.
nope, I have yet to see it..I did hear and read the news article about the subliminal or "hidden" messages in it...
tht is what has me interested in it
yes i did, really good movie, would recomend it to everyone

Don't be a liar now....if you seen something and equate it to Jesus, it doesn't count. If you felt something and assumed it was Jesus, it doesn't count. So of all the people who say they have seen Jesus, how many of you have actually seen him?But if you hadn't and assumed it was Jesus,...

The saddest movie that I have ever seen was Terms of Endearment (1983) with Debra Winger and Shirley Maclaine. The saddest part of the movie is when Emma (Debra Winger) is diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her breast and she fights to the bitter end.A poignant part in the film is when Emma goes...
