Was "The Others" Nichole Kidman's best acting performance? Do you have another acting performance by her you think better?

While Im really not a Nichole Kidman fan and do not think shes and "A" list actress by any means, I did like her in Malice. That's her best performance that Ive seen.

Haven't seen Malice yet, Kevin. Sounds good though, and will have to watch it sometime. Assume Nichole plays a baddie in it and she could be good in those.

I've had a crush on Nicole Kidman since she was "Dr. Chase Meridian" in the otherwise unremarkable film "Batman Forever" so I'll go with that one.

Oh my, another one by her I haven't seen. Nichole playing a doctor ought to be interesting and when you get a crush it surely counts for a lot as a fave.

It's one of the lesser entries in the Batman series, but it captured Nicole at what I like to call her "absolute peak of hottie perfection."

Nuthin' wrong with 'hottie perfection.' Good comment, Keith. Man, how am I gonna chose a best out of all these super answers..

I just did see her play Grace Kelly and that was really good and more my type movie than :The Others" but I would have to say from the sheer surprise of "The Other's" ending I would have to pick it. I mean I was all through that movie jumping from one person to another of who was the bad guy so was really thrilled at the end!

Hi Jackie! So she just played Grace Kelly. Seems she's had some work done but is still a beauty though some think she looks different. Your right about The Others. That was one excellently conceived movie and she did great in it.

She was good in "Dead Calm" and she won the Oscar for "The Hours". However I really enjoyed her performance in "Moulin Rouge".
She had to act, sing, and dance. She pulled it off magnificently.
Note: I've yet to see "The Others".

Dead Calm was her first flick and the one where Cruise first saw her. Moulin Rouge did show her range and your right about it being enjoyable. Definitely see The Others sometime.

I give her her due but was disappointed with her performance as a Charleston Belle in Cold Mountain. Not bad, but could have been better. The Others was an exceptional film and I agree with you!

Hello my friend Alastar.....I suppose it may not be Nicole's BEST performance, but I loved her in "Stepford Wives."  I'm sure it has a lot to do with the fact that I like the story so well.  In fact, I enjoyed the entire cast in that movie.....I believe the one Nicole starred in was a remake of the original made in the '70's?   I don't even recall if I saw the original.

Other than liking her in that movie.....I'd say the "smartest" thing she ever did was dump that rear end Cruise.......and she sure did redeem herself fabulously by sinking her hooks into Keith!!   (I know, Alastar...."typical female comment!!"....)

She absolutely did! Keith adores her...she is so lucky! smile)

Now that is a cool choice dear effer! And yes, there was an original. Haha she got about as far away from Cruise's thang with Keith as it's possible to be. Luv ya lady!

Nicole is one of my favorites and I loved her and Tom in Far and Away---the locations, the era and the hardships the people living in this time endured. It was played out by these two great performers.

And, Nicole with Huge Jackman in Australia---I did a review on this one I loved it so much. She is beautiful and talented.

Far and Away was an exceptional movie about Irish coming to America, underrated it is imho. Remember the funny scene with the hat on Cruise's, er, you know lol. Haven't seen Aust. yet but it's on the list! Grand it seems!

Ooh.. this is a good question!

I think that she was fantastic in 'Malice.'  It's an old movie with Alec Baldwin, with a great premise- and I always remembered her performance in that move for some reason.

Kevin mentioned that movie so will have to check-it out for sure. Thanks Wendi. I'm surprised no has said that one where she played an evil teacher who tries to seduce one of her students into murdering her husband. What was that movie name I wonder?

Loved her in "Dead Calm." That was the first time I ever saw her and she was so unique.

Suspenseful movie on the sea! She was unique and still had her natural wavy curly hair.

Nicole Kidman is sizzling in the movie "To Die For" where she plays the hot wife, who seduces a teenager. Based loosely on Pamela Smart. Those love scenes looked completely real.

That's it! She was so good in that and I didn't know it was based on Pam Smart case. Thanks getitrite.
