    2. The Thing (John Carpenter version)
    3. Evil Dead II
    4. Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
    5. Day of the Dead
    6. JAWS
    7. The Shining (Kubrick's)
    8. The Fly (Cronenberg version)
    9. The Fog (1980 John Carpenter)

      That's a pretty good list Titen. Excluding Japanese horror we're pretty much in agreement, with a little bit of uncertainty where Cabin in the Woods is concerned. I might replace it with American Werewolf in London. But other than that...
