Friday music discussion

    We had a nice discussion about celtic music last night. I discovered a new band, Seven Nations smile

    Tonight how about talking about folk music of other kinds tonight. I'm thinking mainly of 60s protest songs. We don't seem to have as many protest songs any more, although there are some.

        genre classification is very overrated. It's a good song or a bad song, and that's a good one. smile

    I love everything eighties, so thanks for sharing smile.  The video stories of videos were just so much more meaningful, fun, or zany back then.

    I was a big fan of Billy Bragg's during the 80s. Saw him in concert with Michelle Shocked.
