I'm just curious how many people are aware of it, and if they find it funny??

It is my favorite tv series ever, i think it's hilarious and i adore all of the characters! Im thinking about writing my own script for a series of something similar..

To be honest with you, I found it much more funny at age twelve than I do now...... sad

    Hi Marcel,

Got to say its nice to see that I'm not the only one who finds it funny. Some random moments when pubbing i quote Neil Morrisey with an " Oh No heavy - trees and flowers dont necessary call you up and go beep in your ear" and i get the strangest looks as no one has seen the scene with him on the telephone.

My best has to be the train trip to the quiz show with Bambi.
    Vivian is just hilarious.

    Good luck with your script.

I know what you mean Lol. I love vivian!! When i quuote from the series, people just look at me weird, as so many people don't even know about it! They are missing out big time!!

My favourite bit is when Neil makes a vegie garden, and Rick kills him, and then 2 more Neils grow out of the garden. Lol

The next time a dress up party comes up, i'm going as Viv.

I love the young ones. Ade Edmondson and Rick Mayall are genius! Their comedy got even funnier in the show Bottom and Filthy Rich and Catflap. They even did a few stage performances of Bottom that toured the country. I recoded them all of the channel Dave awhile ago smile

Lol well Surfi, You do seem like a bit of a hippie! I get called a hippie all the time, my bf sometimes refers to me as Neil.

Take it as a compliment, i love Neil too, he;s a beautiful character, despite his lack of hygeine!

classic episode, that. The show was great. If done right, a contemporary version would do quite well. Most of us need a bit more levity in life.

Great show, should have been more of them, I liked the one were Vivian got pregnant but he wasn't really as it was a load of wind and he farted and someone lit a cigar and boom they all blew up.

Totally surreal comedy, but good fun, I liked Bottom too, with rik mayall and ade edmonson, twas a classic!
