I don't know how many of you like animation, or animated films, but it is the genre I grew up watching. First there was traditional hand drawn animation like Snow White and Peter Pan, then came stop motion, claymation and puppetry made famous by Rankin/Bass productions. Finally there has been the onset of computer animated films beginning with the first full length computer animated film "Toy Story" in 1995.

Some of my favorite films from the past 20 years have been animated. I also have developed a great admiration for the techniques used in the various forms of animation.

I love animated films and use them in teaching English as a second language to children (parts of them). Disney's animated films are the best if you ask me!

I absolutely love animated films. Like you, I grew up watching animated films like: Peter Pan, Snow White, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella...

And some of my favorite films were animated. Who doesn't love "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "The Corpse Bride," and "Coraline?"

    Animated films are wonderful.

Some are even calling our age the beginning of a new renaissance of the medium, which is justifiable with Pixar, Aardman Studios (Creature Comforts, Wallace and Gromit), Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke), and Henry Selick (Coraline, Nightmare Before Christmas) offering some beautifully crafted and distinct pieces to the table.

Then there's animation for adults, which is really pushing cinema in an exciting new direction.  Movies like Waltz with Bashir, Persepolis, The Triplets of Belleville, Fear(s) of the Dark, and Sita Sings the Blues are absolutely inspired.  Animation has a lot of potential that is finally starting to be realized by modern audiences.  I love it.

I am looking forward to Toy Story 3 this summer, I wonder how Pixar is going to pull off a trilogy! I thought that Toy Story 2 was even better than the first, I hope they make another wonderful sequel that is on par with the first two.

I like animation and have always enjoyed cartoons. However, as my children grew up I began taking an interest in what they watch. And began watching
"Sailor Moon", "Dragon Ball", and "Dragon Ball Z". Although my children are all past this stage. I still watch "Avatar--the last air bender" Hirako No Go, and a couple of other Animee.

I like animation and/or cartoons in form of tv show and movie. I don't miss a single change to see Disney movies.

If it werent for movies like Toy Story we wouldnt have had movies like AVATAR, Computer animation is where its at now, but the Princess and the frog did pretty well in theaters though so it just goes to show that people still like the classic animation style as well!
