   I have many favorite Christmas movies, but there's one that I truly love is The Bishop's Wife (1947)  with Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. I'm not sure if many people out there are aware of this movie, but it's worth watching. That's all I'm going to say because I'm afraid if I start talking about it, I just might ruin the plot for everyone! So, if you have the time, try to see this movie. You won't regret it:-).

   Nightmare Before Christmas. I love the dark imagery combined with the whole festivity of the holidays themselves. Not to mention I am a musical nut so it is all around right up my alley.

   I love watching How The Grinch stole Christmas and The Peanuts Snoopy Christmas movies.  They are my kids favorites and it always puts us in a good mood.  We usually watch them the week when they are out of school and make popcorn or depending on the weather, hot chocolate with marshmallows.

   We as a Family never miss watching " Family Vacation" ( chevy chase)..It's a Great Life ( jimmy stewart).." Night b'fore Christmas" ( timBurton) and all the classics of " Charlie Brown ", " Scrooge "last but least"The Grinch" Jim Carey..These put us in the Holiday mood as we grew up in snow country and they all depict snow...and good will towards mankind...

   I can't believe that no one has said "A Christmas Story" - that is my all time favorite Christmas movie because my dad loves it...so really it's all about that daughter/father bond.
