If your love life were a dance, which dance would it be?
Would it be: Cha Cha; Belly dance; Disco; Ballet; Freestyle;
Argentine Tango; Jazz; Street Dance; Square Dance; a Waltz; Boogie Woogie; the Funky Chicken...or some other kind of dance?
If you don't have a love life right now, then please feel free to share which kind of "dancer" you were. Don't be shy. Inquiring minds want to know!
hi, Yves. Mine would be can I have this dance. our wedding song from our first dance as husband and wife. It's a country song, we danced to it like a waltz
I've heard the song, Terrie Lynn. It's by Anne Murray, right? Very romantic. But just to clarify, the question is which particular Dance resembles your love life? Would you still choose the Waltz?
oh, I see I missed part of the question.I must think again and get back to you,lol
Please do. This question is meant to be light-hearted.
Yes yves, hubby said our life is a polka, not sure what song yet though. He thought of the bugs bunny show. LOL
That's adorable. Lively and funny. A great combination for a loving marriage. Thanks to you and your hubby for sharing. I love his answer!
Yves.....Since your question is asked in a light-hearted, "Fun" manner....never let it be said that I will pass up an opportunity for some fun! I don't have a "love life," in the romantic sense of the word, at the current time. I hated to not respond to your question, so I'm here to "twist" it around a little.
I could comment on a former love life, but frankly, Yves, I don't believe there's a dance from anywhere in the world that could describe it.....seriously!
On the other hand, I do have a love affair with life, my dearest friends & of course, my precious grandchildren. My interaction with the little ones in my life could easily be described as "The Bunny Hop," or "The Hokey Pokey." I can only handle a couple rounds of those dances!
There are days that I'm lucky enough to "waltz" through without a hitch but others can be a combo of the "Pony" & "Watusi!" The latter is when I wind up soaking in a warm epsom bath to soothe my old bones.
It's such a beautiful warm day today with a subtle breeze.....it calls for me to get up off my duff and go for a nice long "Stroll." I'll save the "Mashed Potato" until it's closer to dinner time! Till then girlfriend, be very careful as you walk past the "Electric Slide!!"......Peace, Paula
Paula, I am touched by your answer. All of life has the potential to be a love affair. I think that your life reflects the decision to love, and to participate in all kinds of dance. Enjoy your "breezy" walk and thank you!
Yves...and let's not forget our mutual love affair with words! Yours is a strong love and it shows whenever you write. It is a gift to know just what to say. You're a Star!
If ever someone knows how to be a gf, it's you. I think the Good Book says something to the effect of "warm words are are as honey to the soul." I paraphrase, but it's sooooo true.
Terrie Lynn, I was trying to respond to your beautiful comment & accidentally deleted it. I am mortified. Your comment was so sweet....
LOL, OPS. but it's true. You both seem like amazing women. I enjoy what you both write. You are both stars.
Terrie Lynn....thank you for such a wonderful compliment. Women who support fine women are the best, in my book. You are one of them!
