I need an alternative to facebook that suits a middle aged woman who is subversive in many ways.
I am sick to death of FB censorship and being blocked and locked out for ridiculous reasons.

Reddit, Tumblr and Diaspora are fine with swearing, adult content, etc.
PerfSpot is specifically for all ages, all genders, all backgrounds.
Skyrock is musicians and music lovers. You can blog there.
NING is for organizers and activists.
Bebo is UK based and will let you set up a profile free.
Lab For Culture is artists and art lovers.
Not sure about the rules with the last 5 but they sound pretty laid back. Good luck finding somewhere you can be yourself and shine!
