Is it just coincidence the first A bombs dropped were called Little Boy and Fat Man?

The current leader of North Korea seems amply represented by the first nuclear bombs dropped. Does this show synchronicity or coincidence?

The names Fat Man and Little Boy (originally Thin Man) came from  Dashiell Hammett's novels. He wrote The Thin Man, and a character in this book The Maltese Falcon was named Fat Man. The name of the smaller bomb was changed to Little Boy, because neither bomb ended up in a thin housing.

    So, coincidence, not synchronicity.

I put this question in the humour category. Or as the late Robin Williams said "Ar ar".

Ah. You've miscategorized your question, then. It's not about humor, and it's not funny.

      It's gallows humour.
