I have had several synchronistic events happening in the last week or so.
*thinking about someone and they call.
*showing up at a place I wasn't originally going to go to but seeing someone I hadn't seen in yrs.
Just bizzare random events that all interconnect.
Curious to hear any of your synchronistic events .
Wellllll ...you know some people say that that's not synchronicity at all.
You thinking about it makes it happen.
saberblade: The definition of synchronicity is: The coincidence of events that seem related, but are not obviously caused one by the other.
But I like that you think, that thinking about something makes it happen, I really wish that were true as in thinking about winning the powerball but it has never happened yet. It's a nice thought though ,Thank you!!! I wish it was that easy I have heard it said that whatever we think about and thank about we bring about. But again that hasn't happened.
But how do you know that the events you said happened weren't triggered by your own thoughts?
I thought about taking a leak, and then I had to take a leak.
Clearly I am one with the universe.
I am a firm believer that synchronicity does indeed exist. As to what/why/how, I am totally clueless.
Well Jung believed in it too.
But he only founded analytical psychology so what did he know?
I consider Carl Gustav Jung to be one of the greatest all-time representatives of humanity. His theories have illumined my life for about 4 decades. Thus synchronicity is a concept that totally enters into my world view.
"The definition of synchronicity is: The coincidence of events that seem related, but are not obviously caused one by the other."
so it is a large and impressive word for "luck",... and since luck is nothing more than opportunity meeting up with preperation,.... then yea,... i can believe in synchronicity, as much as i believe in luck,... which i dont.... but i'd rather say luck,... its easier to spell

Is it just coincidence the first A bombs dropped were called Little Boy and Fat Man?The current leader of North Korea seems amply represented by the first nuclear bombs dropped. Does this show synchronicity or coincidence?

Synchronicity meaning that things happens spontaneously ...like you are thinking of someone you haven't heard from in ages and then for some reason they call out of the blue or you bump into them at an airport or something or you forgot where you put your keys and then all of a sudden you remember...

The assignation that you are one lucky, or unlucky, bastard comes from the assailable notion that you, to the extent that other operative forces allow you no time and space for action or inaction, do not have complete control over your life. In turn, this notion proceeds from the idea that Albert...

I personally believe we are extremely overpopulated, and I don't believe enough is being done to fix it. I think that we need to have stricter laws about how bit our families can be, and I think that adoption should be a first priority. Every one has their dreams, and I know that it is hard to let...

As we come to the beginning of 2012, do you think people are thinking about the end of the world?
