The latest media frenzy over a jacket that Melania Trump wore on a trip to Texas borders to see the immigration crisis...
    Here is The controversy...

    https://usercontent2.hubstatic.com/14092953.jpg

Depending on your political persuation, you can take this two ways...

    1. If you are a Trump hater, you will believe it was a hidden message showing the callousness of the Trump family...while showing compassion for the illegal immigrant families crossing our borders and being torn apart, they really don’t care for these people...and it was just a photo op.

    2. If you are a Trump supporter, you will believe what Trump tweeted regarding this issue and said the message on the back of this jacket was referringto the “fake news” that has been attacking her husband and his administration...

Who are you going to believe?

I think I'll believe she never should have worn that. No matter its meaning. If she wore it. Did she really??

That’s interesting. You even doubt she wore this jacket?
It was clearly photographed as she boarded the plane...

I guess it comes down to what your views are on free speech.
Does a person have the right to express their opinion either by words or by their attire?

You say she shouldn’t wear this jacket in any case...
Does she not have the same rights as you and I?

Personally speaking, I don’t really care either. I was just making this observation from the sideline.
How a simple wardrobe can be ginned up by the media...

Obviously, none of us really know what she was thinking...
I care more about what she actually does as the first lady of our country.

What you can do is not always the same as what you should do. I realize in this hateful environment most have lost sight of that.

That is one of the problem. Who is to decide what one should or should not do?

Given the current media and its hostility towards the GOP and Trump in specific, what should be the response?

In the past, in the days of Romney, when he was running for President, he kept quiet among the various attacks on his character...and he lost the election. Under Trump, his brash take no prisoner attitude has helped him won. Who is to say, what is proper response to attacks by the media?

I respect Melania. She has been maligned unfairly. Made fun of without taste. However, giving the current news and her destination I question the judgement of the timing.

Here is the “fake news” on the cover of Time Magazine - perhaps what she was protesting against...

Regardless of the intent it was pretty f’ing stupid to wear on the way to doing what she was doing. Had she just been walking down the street for a leisurely stroll... fine, whatever. But given the context it was either a tremendous oversight or a distasteful troll job.

Perhaps there is a method to this madness...
She wanted to bring attention to this issue...
What better way to promote her unscheduled event to Texas...
      By wearing something controversial...
Hence the media must cover it...
And expose themselves again to jumping to conclusions...
