Star Wars retcons Empire Palpatine. It's official. Star Wars is dead

   Assuming you saw the video, what are your thoughts on this?  Apparently, it's being reported that Emperor Palpatine is being retconned. Yes apparently Palpatine was nothing more than a puppet and it was a woman that secretly ran the empire........it's official if this turns out to be true, then Star Wars is officially dead to me.  Fuck Star Wars if they do this shit. If they do this then I'm done.  Star Wars is dead to me. 
   
   The prequels made the franchise sick, but Disney killed it.

         True. I don't mind diversity in movies, but it shouldn't come at the cost of the story.

      I'm fully aware these are just movies, and not sacred texts. That's rather obvious.  And trust me even though I am sad to see what Disney is doing to Star Wars, it's not something I think about 24/7, as I have real problems as well. You'd know that if you actually got to know me rather than assuming you know about me like you did just now.  Hell, for all you know, i could have bigger problems going on in real life  than anything you're probably going through right now, or even been through, so don't assume anything about me.  And no I'm not saying you don't have real problems to worry about either, nor am I saying i have more problems than you.  I'm just saying you shouldn't assume things is all. 
      
      Also, the reason I started this thread wasn't to merely rant about Star wars. It was to create an exciting conversation and debate about it. If you're not interested in that, then fine. I don't care. I just found this news bit to be shocking, and thought maybe it would be fun to have a conversation with my fellow hubbers on this site. Sorry if you don't feel the same way.  Deuces.
