Assuming you saw the video, what are your thoughts on this? Apparently, it's being reported that Emperor Palpatine is being retconned. Yes apparently Palpatine was nothing more than a puppet and it was a woman that secretly ran the empire........it's official if this turns out to be true, then Star Wars is officially dead to me. Fuck Star Wars if they do this shit. If they do this then I'm done. Star Wars is dead to me.
The prequels made the franchise sick, but Disney killed it.
I have real-world problems, I don't have time to get angry over nonsense like this.
As I said in one of your other Star Wars threads: they're just movies, they're not sacred texts. Geez.
I'm fully aware these are just movies, and not sacred texts. That's rather obvious. And trust me even though I am sad to see what Disney is doing to Star Wars, it's not something I think about 24/7, as I have real problems as well. You'd know that if you actually got to know me rather than assuming you know about me like you did just now. Hell, for all you know, i could have bigger problems going on in real life than anything you're probably going through right now, or even been through, so don't assume anything about me. And no I'm not saying you don't have real problems to worry about either, nor am I saying i have more problems than you. I'm just saying you shouldn't assume things is all.
Also, the reason I started this thread wasn't to merely rant about Star wars. It was to create an exciting conversation and debate about it. If you're not interested in that, then fine. I don't care. I just found this news bit to be shocking, and thought maybe it would be fun to have a conversation with my fellow hubbers on this site. Sorry if you don't feel the same way. Deuces.

It's been made official that Disney owns the rights to Lucasfilms for over a cool 4 billion dollars. Lucas is being kept on as a consultant, but I do know in various interviews he claims he's retiring, and more than likely work on independent films if he does make movies.Personally, I think...

According to MSN, George Lucas was emotionally hurt by various fans and critics who bashed his "Star Wars" prequels, and said that he felt somewhat betrayed by them; hence he's never going to make another "Star Wars" film again. Who's to blame here? George Lucas for...

I've been reading recently how the new Star Wars movie, Rogue One, is anti-Trump.First, some of the creators of the film have posted anti-Trump messages. They've also changed the nature of the Star Wars universe to exclude white people and emphasize multi-culturalism. It's also rumored, although...

Is George Lucas a traitor of Star Wars fans? After watching the People against George Lucas documentary film I can feel the hatred of die-hard Star Wars fans with the changes made on the re-mastered films. George Lucas changed into a greedy Grinch and changed the format of his movies to appeal and...
