Drew Brees is called out as being ignorant by LeBron James

Drew Brees recently released a statement saying how he would NEVER side with anyone who wants to disrespect the American flag by kneeling during the national anthem, but did openly admit that there are problems in this country and how we need to work together to resolve them.

Unfortunately, his comments didn't go over too well with his teammates, and it led to NBA superstar, LeBron James, calling him out online saying he feels Drew Brees is ignorant, and feels he doesn't understand the concept that Colin Kaepernick wasn't kneeling to disrespect the flag during the anthem, but rather to protest peacefully against police brutality.  Needless to say, this has led to some people on ESPN and Fox Sports to imply that Brees might be a racist for his comments, or a bit insensitive considering the riots going on but what are your thoughts?

Is Drew Brees wrong in what he said?  Or do you think he's ignorant like LeBron said he is?   Please discuss.

Edit:  I'm making a sports prediction right now.  Not only will the New Orleans Saints NOT make the playoffs next season assuming there is one, AND Drew Brees is either going to get sacked A LOT.   Seriously if any of you ever seen the "Longest Yard", with Adam Sandler, and how his teammates just let the other team sack him when they thought he was a traitor, then that's exactly what's going to happen to Drew Brees next year, as I wouldn't be surprised if his Offensive line just let him get hit just to spite him.   Or more than likely he'll get benched because I can imagine his teammates might not only intentionally allowing him to get sacked all the time, to where he'll be running for his life next season, but I predict his receivers might just drop a few passes here and there just to make him look bad, but that's just me.  All in all, i think Drew Brees career is over at this point, and he should think about retiring because he ain't going to survive the next NFL season.  I can promise you all that.
