alternate tuning

    Can anyone tell me what notes to tune the open strings to to play in Db.

      Guitar?  Drop all strings three steps.

      I think this is right I just did it in my head.  good luck


      Heavy tuning?  Floppy strings.

      I would tune the guitar to E flat then drop the top string to Dflat.  Just a suggestion.

    The scale is this:

    Db, Eb, F, Gb, Ab, Bb, C, Db

    There are five flats in the key signature. If you use a capo, you should be able to move it up a half step from C (no sharps or flats) and get what you need.

    I'm not a guitar player, just a piano player. So that's about all I know for guitar.
