Are these really your favorites? That is so cute! The slipper and the rose absolutely overwhelmed me as a child, and Room with a View is one of the best films ever.
Ok what about these: 'Cool Hand Luke', 'Dr. Zhivago', 'The Mission', 'Withnail and I', ' Life is Beautiful', 'The Kid'.

Yes, I would say from these, that 'The Slipper and the Rose' has to be my all-time favourite.  In fact I have three copies of it on DVD, and I watch it every couple of months, especially when I am feeling down, and can't help singing to the musical numbers.  I love 'A Room With A View', but only have this on video, which I have watched so many times, that it plays very badly now.

I love classic movies and spend a lot of time watching TCM.  My favourite genres are mysteries and suspense and movie musicals.  I'm such a big fan of mysteries that I love B movies as well.  I would like to see every movie ever made that fits in the msyery/suspense movie mase during the Studio system and until I was born-1976.
