Is American Idol simply another money spinner for Simon Cowell or does it produce real talent?
It doesn't produce talent. It produces a commercialized product. The participants either have talent or they don't. And that is evident at the time they audition. In other words, the judges don't make them any more talented by giving them their opinions or criticism. The only thing they do is turn them into stage stars, that's all.
