I finally had the chance to watch the movie, Bridesmaids. It was hilarious!! I died laughing last night and I haven't laughed out loud from a movie in quite some time. If you haven't seen it, you really need to! I'm not going to write an entire review of the movie, I just wanted to point out my favorite parts and maybe one of them will get you to watch the movie.
I have two favorite parts to this movie, and I bet one of them is the favorite by most.
1. The one I refer to as the "Message!"[in my most awesome Dave Chappelle voice] favorite is when the character, Annie, played by Kristen Wiig, is feeling down on herself and sitting at home depressed. The character, Megan, played by Melissa McCarthy[GREAT actress!] comes to visit Annie at her home. She goes to help Annie, but not you would think. She starts wrestling Annie on her couch, Annie starts screaming, "Stop! What are you doing? Get off me! ect." Megan starts shouting back at her, "You know who I am? I'm life and I'm getting in your way! Life's about to take a bite of your ass!" and literally bites Annie's ass. Hilarious! Megan talks to her and tells Annie that she's her only problem in life and she's the only one standing in her own way.
That's it in short. You have to see the movie to see the entire thing play out. I love this part because it's true. Most of us stand in our own way in life. We have to learn how to deal, move on, live, be happy, and stop blaming others for our unhappiness.
2. My other favorite part is the one that I think that is the favorite of most who have seen the movie. And it is when the cast is at the fancy schmancy boutique trying on bridesmaid dresses. All of a sudden one by one they each start getting sick with a case of food poisoning. Mind you they are in these expensive wedding & bridesmaids dresses. And anyone who has food poisoning knows it comes out uncontrollably, out of both ends. Yuck, I know. This scene was hilarious and they dragged it out! I was crying laughing as they all started getting sick and running to the only bathroom at the boutique. Yes, it was a little graphic, but not too over the top.
I laughed so hard last night and I don't remember laughing like that in a long time, especially during a movie. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE! You Will Laugh!
If you've already seen this movie what was your favorite part? If you haven't do you think you will?
I love the car scene when Annie's trying to get Rhodes's attention. I also love when Megan is trying to get with the agent on the plane. And also when Annie was drugged up by the rich lady ( I forget her name). All in all, it was so funny it's hard to think of moment that didn't make me laugh
Oh I agree with Alecia. The car and the airplane scenes were funny. But I laughed so hard when Melissa McCarthy's character takes all those puppies from the elaborate bridal shower. Hahaa
The best part was the quick Maury Povich Show clip where the guy finds out he's not the father and starts dancing. Hilarious.

When was the last time you had a good laugh? In our world today, we see all the striff and turmoil around us that we become like stone, harden. Laughter has always been good medicine. When was the last time you laughed, not chuckled or gave a "ha ha", but a good hearty laugh?
