   What is one thing  that you have done for someone that was kind?
   
   Can you name something that you have done recently that could be classified as showing kindness towards someone else? How do you help your kids learn about kindness?

   I volunteered and transported a kind person to the clinic for treatment and scheduled tests, everyone else was too busy to do so.
   
   As far as children learning to be kind to others, it must start at home. The words "thank you" can go a long way. Simple interactions at home teaches a child how to display kindness. "I really appreciate you helping with the dishes" and so on.
   
   Telling one child that his sibling is so kind and why can't you be like them is a big mistake. Pay attention to your child's interactions with others and then you might be able to guide them with your own show of returning kindness to others.
   
   You might let them know that not everyone will return their kindness right away, but not to give up. Give them an example of what the word "kindness" means.

      Great for you! It seems like you make a constant effort to help your children to be kind. Shaming your children into kindness is not right, but you do the opposite.

   I understand what you are asking, and I have done things for people that could be considered kind but if I state them here, then the kind act becomes about me rather than the person who received the kind gesture.

      Children learn by example, and our children (being pastor's kids) learned quite a bit about charity and giving. Also we always taught them to be kind to others.  The best lessons  in kindness is to be kind yourself, people notice and appreciate it.

   I try to do something nice for someone else every time I manage to get out of my house. Today I was stopped by a fellow sufferer of a disability in the Walmart parking lot. She informed me how she was loosing the control of PTSD. I stopped my day on the spot, and shared my service dog with her. Then as well I used my smart phone, out of service area charges, and I look up the information, and contacts she needed for further help. I spent over an hour speaking with her, guiding her through steps and techniques I and others have found useful. I even let my service dog service someone else. Not recommended for most.
   
   I have tried to follow a few other hubbers today. To spread the good will and popularity needed in these hubs. I have also taken in people off the street who were homeless until they managed back on their feet. Of course I do a lot of things that others would say are inadvisable. Then again this includes baking for others. People used to help each other out all the time, but now, even baking for others can be frowned upon by some.
   
   Others have done kindness for me also. As well as my service dog. There is one store I always shop in. One clerk went up against her boss to be able to have a container of dog treats below the counter. Which of course Sebastian looks forward to every time we go there. The owner of course gave in to the worker. If these type of kindnesses are not expressed. People soon become hardened. I am glad you asked. It helps keep the warm feeling and joy of helping going.

   My neighbour gave me some guavas and i gave her some papayas? She invited my daughter to her house when we were not at home in time and i invited her son to my house when they were not at home in time either? Do that consider kindness?

      Yes, kindness displayed by both parties, which we are in much need of all over the world.
