All bullies (not just children) bully others
1) to give themselves a sense of accomplishment
2) because they are bullied themselves
3) they are weak and feel the need to make others feel even weaker than themselves
I believe it's due to insecurity. They may not get enough attention from home, always being blamed or being ignored. My neighbor is a bully and he picks on smaller kids, I think it's due to his parents, always blaming him (versus his sister) because she is smarter (and older) and can talk her way out of it.
I do think bullying is a "learned" behavior. But I am no expert. This is hard and wish you luck.
Its because Bullies think they are cooler then the person they are beating up.Bullies also beat other children up to improve there school reputation and try to act like they are "Mr.Tuff Stuff".Sometimes it has to do with there family life.It just all depends. But thats some of the reasons why Bullies do what they do.
