What is it like to be married to bipolor spouse.
I don't know if my experience is common or not. We've been married 57 years. She has always showen BP symptoms. Just diagnosed about 30 years ago.
Get away!!!!!!!!!!!!! when she say it because, she always is going to change her actitude.
If you have been married for 57 years and still have to ask this question I'd say you either should already know or haven't been home enough for it to matter. Seriously 57 years would make you what 70s, 80s?? if you have put up with each other for that long the bipolar stuff shouldn't even be on the table.
Have a great day.
You chose to marry her and stay with her, you must find some pleasure in the highs and lows. Medication sure does wonders for bipolors, it's too bad that she is not on them.
I do know what her symptoms are. Im just wondering if they are typical. She is on mediation and when it works she is wonderful. unfortunately sometimes the mediation fails and we have to go back and try re-stabilize her condition.
I'm not looking for anything to change.
i'm just curious to know if everyone has the same experience I have.

Assuming we're talking about a younger couple, what would you think of a person's decision to start dating again only one or two months after their spouse dies as a result of illness, car accident, etc?

How did you meet them and how long have you been married to your love?
