Other than issues related to advanced maternal age, if you've previously had your tubes tied/blocked then your chances of having an ectopic pregnancy go up dramatically. Other than that, you might want to discuss risk factors with your doctor as a lot depends on your personal health, etc. If all else fails, there's always adoption
