Be a mother first to your child, do a good job of it. Don't worry about best, such comparisons will neither help you, nor your child, enjoy your time with your child and bond with your child. keep the best interest of your child in mind and you will be the best that you can be.
If you can train yourself to see the world through your child's eyes ~ and if you can love your children unconditionally ~ if you can learn to base your decisions for your children according to their best interests instead of others expectations, then you will be the best mother you can be for your child/children. Learning to see your role as the best mother for YOUR child is better than trying to be THE best mother.
