sirching for my sister or brother supositly born between 1939 and 1945 in frankfurt germany
i v gott my mothers name only .she is decesded, sorry for my english ,i was born in frankfurt in 1943 and went to france in49.canada in 67.thanks
You're English is quite fantastic for living in other countries that long! Don't worry. And good luck!
My first thought is to check census records through Ancestry, Heritage Quest, or similar site that would link the names of any children to your mother's along with her birth and death date (to make sure you got the right person with your mother's name). Ancestry also has a message board where people can post looking for certain surnames from certain areas, which gets a lot of traffic from other people looking for relatives and you may also be able to find someone who is actually in Frankfurt that would be willing to check local records.

I was born and raised in one area and then after getting married have lived most of my life far away from my siblings. It has been hard to keep the relationship going, although it really was never that close to begin with - how about yours?
