Children should not be allowed to own and use a cellphone. Cellphone has several health hazards and exposing children to these would not be a good idea.

Yes, why not? But there are rules a parent must insist to a young child in using the cellphone. First, it must be strictly used to send messages home to let the parent know where the child is and what he is doing, but not to be opened in public. Second, it must serve the purpose of exchanging notes with classmates concerning school work. But it must not distract his studies by using it indiscriminately. Third, it must not be used to attract snatchers along the streets and inside vehicles. These are only few of the rules a parent must tell his child to observe.

Children studying in schools should not be allowed to own or possess a mobile phone as it makes  them weak in  their studies. Why?  because if a child is asked to solve a question of mathemetics, he would take help of  a mobile phone and  ask his parents, friends or any other person known to him in addition to certain websites which provide  help in solving the questions . In that case, the child will not use his mind or will not do any hardwork. This would result in making him   an irresponsible  person  who will not be able   to face the  future for opportunities of better living. Children above school level  should be allowed  to use  a mobile but not inside their  college  classes.
